7. AirHelp MCP Connector

AirHelp has a connector (MCP) for Claude and ChatGPT. Passengers describe a delayed, canceled or denied-boarding flight in their own words and get an eligibility check and an estimated payout, on the same no win, no fee basis as any AirHelp claim.

Field

Description

Purpose
Checks a flight disruption against passenger rights rules and estimates how much compensation a passenger may be owed.
Rules checked
EC 261, UK 261, Turkish (SHY) and Saudi passenger rights rules.
Covers
Delays, cancellations and denied boarding. Missed connections on multi-leg trips follow the same flow.
Does not cover
Bookings, baggage, travel insurance and live flight status.
Languages
English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, Portuguese and Dutch. Replies come in the language the passenger writes in.
Account
Not needed to run a check. Needed only to file a claim.
Result
Eligibility, an estimated payout, the rule it falls under and a button to complete the claim. If a passenger is not eligible, the reason is explained, usually a delay under three hours or a cause outside the airline's control, and the AirHelp app is suggested.
Claim filing
Always completes on airhelp.com, never inside Claude or ChatGPT. The claim form is pre-filled with the flight, and the passenger adds personal details. The amount shown is an estimate until AirHelp assesses the claim.

Assistant

How to connect

Claude
1. Open Settings, then Connectors, then Discover (or use the + icon in the message box). 2. Search for AirHelp and open the AirHelp flight compensation checker listing. 3. Select Connect to Claude. 4. Start a message with AirHelp whenever you want to bring it in.
ChatGPT
1. Search for AirHelp in the plugin directory, through Settings, then Plugins, or the + icon in the message box. 2. Open the AirHelp listing and select Connect. 3. Tag @AirHelp at the start of any message to bring it into the conversation.

Step

What happens

1. Describe the flight
The passenger tells the assistant what happened, in their own words.
2. Confirm airports
Departure and arrival airports are confirmed from suggested matches.
3. Confirm the date
The scheduled departure date is confirmed, with shortcuts for yesterday and today.
4. Flight match
The route and date are matched to the exact flight, and a cancellation is flagged.
5. Cancellation notice
For cancellations, the passenger says how much warning the airline gave. Under EC 261, a cancellation announced less than 14 days before departure usually qualifies for compensation, while more notice can mean nothing is owed.
6. Result
Eligibility, an estimated payout and the rule that applies, with a button to complete the claim on airhelp.com.
