Flight insurance will protect all flights registered with us for the duration of the membership.

The number of trips covered by flight insurance varies according to the plan chosen.

Yes, as long as all the flights on your trip are added in the app or Customer Dashboard at least 48 hours before your scheduled departure.

However, there’s a limit of one $200 payout per trip, even if more than one flight is disrupted. So, if two flights within the same trip are delayed, you’ll only receive the payout once.

If you have protected your trip with flight insurance you will receive a one-time $200 payout in the following situations:

• Any flight in your trip arrives 3 or more hours later than scheduled at the final destination.

• Any flight in your trip is canceled by the airline less than 28 days before departure.

• Any flight in your trip is diverted from its original destination.
  

Remember you need to add your flights to AirHelp+ at least 48 hours before departure for these protections to apply.

The cause of the problem is not important, and you will receive your $200 even if the airline is not at fault.

Once you have provided your bank details it takes on average 12 hours for us to send your payout. However, it may take a few days for it to reflect on your account.
