How do I delete a flight in the app?

It’s easy! Just go to your flight details and select delete.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

You can delete any flight before it becomes active, which happens 48 hours before your scheduled departure. That’s also when your benefits, such as those you get with AirHelp+, kick in.

You can’t delete past flights because we check those to see if you’re owed any compensation.


How do I add a flight in the app?

Adding a flight is easy! There are 3 ways to do it:

  • Sync your calendar or Gmail account: This is the quickest, easiest way! Just connect your calendar or Gmail inbox and we’ll automatically add your flight details. Don’t worry, our app only looks for flight info — your private emails stay private.

  • Scan your boarding pass: Simply scan your boarding pass with the app camera and we’ll fill in the flight details for you.

  • Enter your flights manually: Add your flight and follow the onscreen prompts to type in your details.


Why is my flight showing errors in the app?

It’s a rare occurrence, but sometimes flight details such as delay times, gates, or departure times might appear incorrectly in the app. This usually happens when airline data hasn’t fully updated yet. But don’t worry — once the data syncs with our app, your flight info will refresh automatically.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, always double-check with your airline or the airport departure boards.


I can’t find my flight in the app. Why?

Airline information can take a while to update on our end — but don’t worry, your flight will show up in the app soon!

In the meantime, you can manually add your flight details. Once the flight data syncs with our databases, everything will update automatically. Just follow the steps in the app and you’re good to go.
