Your right to Trade Air Flight Compensation
Whenever a flight is delayed or cancelled it can completely ruin your travel plans. Not only do you end up wasting long hours at the airport, but it can also come with unexpected expenses such as having to buy food and other essentials while you wait. Plus, you’re also likely to miss out on scheduled events or important meetings at your destination.
That is why a law known as EC 261 was established. It provides passengers with compensation, as well as the right to care. As EC 261 covers all airlines operating out of, and traveling within the EU, you are entitled to Trade Air flight compensation in the event of a delay, cancellation, or overbooking.
Generally speaking, lengthy delays in excess of 3 hours qualify for Trade Air compensation, but only if the airline was considered to be responsible for the disruption.
Air passengers affected by delays can expect to receive as much as $650 per person. Check your flight now.
Claiming for Trade Air Delay Compensation
When are you eligible for claiming flight delay compensation? Trade Air will try to get you to your destination on time, but if your flight landed more than 3 hours late, your flight could qualify for compensation.
It pays to ask Trade Air what the cause of the delay was, if they haven’t already informed you. If the delay was caused by something outside of their control, such as severe weather conditions, medical emergencies, safety threats, or any other extraordinary circumstance, then they will not be required to pay compensation.
However, regardless of whether the situation was out of their hands or not, they must still provide you with essential care while you wait. You are entitled to receive food, refreshments, and accommodation.
If you think you are eligible for compensation, be sure to keep all important documents, such as your boarding pass and flight confirmation, as well as any receipts that prove that the delay has cost you unexpectedly. It may also help to take photos of the airport and departures board to prove that your flight has been delayed.

How do you know if you are eligible for Trade Air flight cancellation compensation?
For your flight to qualify for
If Trade Air manages to inform you of the cancellation more than 14 days ahead of time, then you will not be given any compensation. However, they are still required to give you a replacement flight to your destination or offer you a refund should you no longer choose to travel.
When they do offer you a replacement flight, remember that you should never have to pay anything extra — even if they choose to upgrade your seats. If you somehow end up with downgraded seats, then they must pay you the difference in price.
Since Trade Air is an EU airline and is covered by EC 261, air passengers that are flying with them are protected by EC 261, but only if they are flying in the EU.
