VP of Business Development and Sales (USA/Europe)

As Airhelp continues to grow rapidly and is currently dominating the air compensation scene (following Y Combinator), we are looking for two ambitious associates, one for USA and one for Europe, who can relentlessly drive new sales and scrupulously handle existing partnerships with the world’s top tier OTAs and Forbes 500 companies. We hope you can demonstrate Airhelp’s platform with startup zeal and intuitively contribute to product strategy navigating our current positive momentum with cognizance of the emerging trends within the fluid legal air business space.

Key responsibilities:

  • Search, define, own all emerging & current business partnerships, expand AirHelp’s portfolio with prominent clients in the air travel business and Forbes 500, sourcing collaborations that are defined by both financial merit and strategic fit; lead due diligence and business case development, structuring term sheets and contract negotiations, ultimately furthering the company’s market share.
  • Build and manage a high performing team of 3-5 global business developers, be a paragon of Sales officer both through direct contact with business partners and through energetic, insightful and positive supervision of the GBPs.
  • Provide leadership, intellectual impetus, and sense of urgency to inspire accountable performance oriented culture that shares the passion for AirHelp’s products, represent the company in front of clients, investors and partners with passion and professionalism actively contributing to the positive momentum of Airhelp.

  • Your profile:

  • You thrive in startup environment, you like to travel extensively, you are a team player and leader happy to work an international team located in Europe, US and Asia and comfortable when dealing with multiple nationalities, cultures and timezones.
  • You are a strong performer driven by success, defined by high energy levels; an independent thinker, possessing a strong entrepreneurial blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • You have outstanding communication skills, being both outspoken and a good listener simultaneously. You also have exceptional presentation skills and are deadly persuasive.
  • You speak English fluently – any other language spoken is beneficial.
  • You have the ability to oversee multiple customers at once, a multitasker with a positive attitude within the team and across business clients.
