IT Support Engineer

Tech position in Gdańsk

As Airhelp continues to grow rapidly and is currently dominating the air compensation scene (following San Francisco’s Y Combinator), we are looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our Tech Team on a full-time basis.

Role:

As a member of the IT Support team, you would be responsible for performing day-to-day service desk tasks. Additionally, you would be responsible for automating IT processes and implementing new software and hardware solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general Desktop support: security, file and directory permissions, adding/deleting users, hardware issues, Operating system issues, Office package issues etc.
  • Software installation and troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of Networking
  • Configure, support, and maintain user desktops, laptops and printers
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes, workstations, and network hardware
  • Managing IT Support hardware/software inventory and purchasing
  • System imaging and deployment
  • Onboarding new desktops/laptops with correct setup
  • Erasing desktops/laptops when staff leave
  • Ensuring systems are kept updated, secure and virus free
  • Documenting IT processes and providing training and support for staff
  • Ensuring internet connectivity and resolving issues

Requirements:

  • Experience with OSX and Apple hardware
  • Minimum 1 year of service desk experience

Nice to have:

  • Experiance in IT process automation and 3rd party solution implementation
  • Experience with Google Apps for Business
