More and more air passengers are asking AirHelp for help when they experience flight disruptions. Because of that, AirHelp is growing rapidly.

We’re a Y Combinator backed company that is looking for a world class Director of Mobile for our New York headquarters that can lead product development and be an integral part of forming our product vision. For too long the air travel industry have been surrounded by red tape and bureaucracy, and we’re looking for the person that wants to be a part of a platform that is truly disrupting this industry,

As the Director of BizDev USA, a typical week might include the following:

  • Constantly reviewing and defining our mobile product vision and evangelizing this across a multinational organization (17 countries/145 employees…)
  • Congratulate the international sales team on a great sales push
  • Present conversion analysis or KPIs to your awesome colleagues
  • Talk to product team about bugs/features from partners that needs to get prioritized for next sprint
  • Convince a CEO for a major online travel company that AirHelp is triple win for them and their customers and back it up with appealing sales material
  • Search for cool new online tools that can make us wiser and faster
  • Look at the sales pipeline before falling asleep to make sure it’s up to date

To land this gig, you need to have experience with sales, business development or consultancy preferably in the travel industry of USA. You have worked with several different sales, reporting, CRM tools. You are able to manage the entire sales cycle of first contact, contract negotiation, integration, implementation and performance measurement. You are extra awesome id you have a strong travel background with a wide industry network.
