As Airhelp continues to grow rapidly and is currently dominating the air compensation scene (following San Francisco’s Y Combinator), we are looking for an energetic level-headed and hands-on Chief Operating Officer with both strategic and operational responsibilities within the company for our office in Gdansk, Poland. The ideal candidate will completely oversee operations at our Polish headquarters while also providing visionary support and coordination of senior management, serve as liaison to investors, business partners, clients and ultimately assist the CEO with the aggressive and successful growth of the company within the volatile legal air business space.
Assure smoothness of daily workings of the Polish office and of all internal and external operations across the company, define, implement, evaluate and optimize new business operating procedures, maintain efficient operational controls, establish adequate administrative and reporting processes, oversee staff and quality of support fitting for a dynamic fast-growing multinational company, and actively work towards the financial strength and operating efficiency across within Airhelp.
Work closely together with dev ops on new product development and convert customer feedback from day-to-day workings of the CS team to product development input.
Build and manage a high performing team of 3-5 global business developers, be a paragon of Sales officer both through direct contact with business partners and through energetic, insightful and positive supervision of the GBPs.
Provide leadership, intellectual impetus, and sense of urgency to inspire accountable performance oriented culture that shares the passion for AirHelp’s products, represent the company in front of clients, investors and partners with passion and professionalism actively contributing to the positive momentum of Airhelp.
You thrive in startup environment, can travel freely to NYC headquarters, you are a team player yet an independent achiever and can prove it with relevant professional experience.
You are a strong performer driven by success, defined by high energy levels; a doer with an entrepreneurial mindset, defined by good judgment, diplomacy and integrity, one who possesses strong adhoc decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
You have outstanding communication skills, being both outspoken and a good listener simultaneously. You also have exceptional presentation skills and are deadly persuasive.
Insurance or travel industry background is an advantage, proven ability to manage 50+ employees is a must
You speak English fluently – any other language spoken is beneficial.
