A delayed or cancelled flight is not always the fault of the airline, in which case they don’t have to pay compensation. Extraordinary circumstances include extreme weather conditions, political unrest or strikes. If one of these was the reason for the delay or cancellation, you are not entitled to compensation from the airline. If the airline wrongfully states extraordinary circumstances, we will gladly challenge them – taking the claim to court if necessary.
