Due to a quick growth and upcoming strategic initiatives, we are currently looking for a VP, Brand & Advertising Strategy who will work closely with the CMO of AirHelp to drive creative process and strategy for AirHelp. This individual will also work with account team leaders from multiple agencies to catalyze and direct the creative process, helping to develop and evolve program concepts from insights to ideas to execution.


In this role, you will:

  • Drive and own the process to generate creative, actionable and unique programs rooted in a clear comms idea and insight, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of AirHelps business and its consumer.
  • Work collaboratively with the insights and research team to identify and agree on key insights to help drive creative programming and ensure all concepts are on brief and on insight.
  • Work with all stakeholders to identify growth opportunities within AirHelp.
  • Lead day-to-day comms planning for high-profile dynamic accounts; play a key role in building trusted relationships with clients alongside other BBH teammates.
  • Partner closely with Strategy and Creative leads to ensure our creative ideas make most effective use of an integrated mix of owned, earned and paid channels, and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technology.
  • Partner closely with the AirHelp performance team to ensure that the communication idea is adopted and executed seamlessly throughout social, PR, and .com properties.
  • Partner closely with media agency partners on key accounts to ensure that AirHelp ideas are deployed through the proper mix of paid/owned/earned channels.
  • Partner with Brand Strategist and UX Designer to develop consumer journeys for each campaign or activity.
  • Determine the communications tasks for each campaign and write task briefs that guide messaging and execution tailored for each channel.
  • Create measurable campaign KPI’s, helping to enhance creative effectiveness and improve sell rate of innovative ideas.
  • Read and analyze campaign metrics and leverage insights from data to improve comms effectiveness.
  • Responsible for demonstrating an understanding of consumer behaviors within media, and a working knowledge of media relevant to the client’s business including TV, digital, social, experiential, print, OOH, and search.
  • Showcase an understanding of digital, social and emerging platforms and technologies.

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of solving complex brand challenges; strong balance of traditional, innovative, experimental and digital/social experience; proven ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Proven experience in creating stand out creative work for other multi-national clients, including a strong track record working in the digital and social media space.
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills required to lead a room of people and align around a clear and singular point of view.
  • Ability to lead and drive to the best client solutions through ambiguity and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 5-7 years of agency (PR, advertising, digital, etc.) and/or corporate communications experience.
  • Proven experience in working with clients at the CMO and other C-Suite levels.
  • Ability to lead and drive to the best client solutions through ambiguity and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Experience in analyzing and making use of research.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, vision and leadership to enact change.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with agencies, colleagues and vendors.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills; captivating presenter and great listener; strong negotiating, persuasion and diplomacy skills.
