As AirHelp continues to grow rapidly and is currently dominating the air compensation scene (following San Francisco’s Y Combinator), we are looking for talented Scrum Master to join our Engineering Team on a full-time basis.

You will join a group of 100+ engineers, designers and QA’s, located mainly in 2 development centers in Gdansk and Krakow (Poland), and help over 500,000 air passengers a month when they have delayed or canceled flight. We spent much effort to build great software ecosystem supporting that goal, now reached the point where automation, optimisation, scalability and testability really matters. Our ultimate aim of AirHelp engineering is to automate most of the processing.

As a member of the Engineering team, you will participate in building great development culture among experienced developers, QA’s and DevOps. Every day we play, experiment and learn how to deliver high quality software and become better engineers.


As a Scrum Master, you will perform all duties consistent with the role of Scrum Master which are necessary to meet the business needs of the company.

Your responsibilities:

  • Promote and support Scrum is understood and enacted by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values
  • Provide services on 3 levels: to Product Owners, Development Teams and to the organization
  • Facilitate Scrum events
  • Support interactions external parties with Scrum Team to  maximize the value created
  • Support Product Owner in finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management  and stakeholder management in order to maximize value
  • Coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality
  • Support the Development Team to create high-value products
  • Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress
  • Coach the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood
  • Coach the organization in its Scrum adoption
  • Inspire understanding and practicing agility
  • Help employees and stakeholders understand and enact Scrum and empirical product development
  • Work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Be open to tailor Scrum implementation to the team’s needs


  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of Scrum
  • Experience with other frameworks/methodologies will be a plus
  • Very good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed leadership competences
  • Excellent ability to prevent and resolve conflicts
  • Experience gained in the project team as a programmer or analyst
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
