15 Songs To Help You Breeze Through Travel This Summer

AuthorThe AirHelper

We’ve been talking a lot about how Europe is the best travel destination for summer…but no matter where you end up traveling to for your perfect summer getaway, we want to help make your flights a breeze! That’s why we’ve put together this summer travel playlist.

Right from the evolution of Pop and Rock & Roll in the 60s to welcoming ourselves to Deep House and Trap in late 2010s, we have always found a travel companion in music. Most of us have that special playlist of songs we listen to while we travel in flights or are waiting in transit. Both touted to provide solace and peace, music and travel have more than one similar quality. Music and travel can provide inspiration and make one’s life richer with experiences

Vacationing in the American continents or St. Barts, the Hamptons or islands of Hawaii? Traveling across the continent of Europe to the romantic city of Venice, museums of Vienna or, just chilling in Ibiza? Your playlist should be a toe-tapping accompaniment to lapping waves or be redolent with the sounds of exotic destinations. Here are a few of my favorite tracks for summertime travel:

Or if you prefer YouTube, the links can be found below:

  1. Riptide – Vance Joy
  2. Jubel – Klingade
  3. Hideaway – Kiesza
  4. I Follow Rivers – Lykke Li
  5. Cheerleader – Omi
  6. Lean On – Major Lazer
  7. Give Life Back to Music – Daft Punk
  8. Fast Car – Tracy Chapman
  9. Hey, Soul Sister – Train
  10. Take On Me – a-ha

  12. Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen
  13. Use Somebody – Kings of Leon
  14. Sweet Home Alabama – Lynyrd Skynyrd

This summer, don’t let anything bog you down: transit times, flight delays, or neverending lines for airport restrooms. Tighten your seat belts, tilt back your seats, plug in your headphones, and get ready for a musical journey you’ll never forget.
