Malta International Airport is the only airport in Malta and serves the whole of the Maltese Islands. Internationally it serves most major European cities. In 1992 it was completely refurbished and became fully operational.

Malta International is located on island of Malta, between Luqa and Gudja, and occupies the location of the former RAF station Luqa.
