The Skytrax score measures each airport on a number of factors including terminal comfort and cleanliness, passenger facilities, and service ratings at check-in, security and customs among other things. However, in light of the recent events at the airport which involved a lot of passengers missing their flight due to the immense queues at check-in and customs, we expect the Skytrax rating to drop significantly.

This significant increase has caused Schiphol to suffer from growing pains, passengers and airlines have been complaining about the chaos and long queues at the airport, which has caused frequent delays.
