More and more air passengers are asking AirHelp for help when they experience flight disruptions. Because of that, AirHelp is growing rapidly. We’re a Y Combinator backed company that is looking for a business developer who would focus on the German market and scout, negotiate and close the partnership deals that make more air passengers get their compensation for delayed, cancelled or overbooked flights.

This role will require ability to understand the business of a potential partner that allows finding the best way to cooperate. At the same time it needs wise courage to say ‘no’ to some deals, when the estimated value for both sides simply would not be satisfactory. We are changing the industry and we need more great people to join our Team to make it happen sooner and to a greater extent.

As a Global Business Development Manager, a typical week might include the following:

  • Research on potential B2B partners
  • Negotiation of business deals and contracts
  • Finding new ways to approach partners
  • Creating and implementing right strategy for each cooperation
  • Provide regular reports management team
  • Develop insights that inform decisions to make our business more successful
  • Work with the account management team to simplify deals execution
  • Look for cool new online tools that can make us wiser and faster
  • You will be talking to business partners both in person (travelling) or via phone/video calls
